1. Scope and Acceptance

This Privacy Policy explains how PrimeFilter LLC (“PrimeFilter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, pay an invoice, contact support, or use our hosting and infrastructure services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with PrimeFilter and may include:

Information you provide

  • name, username, company name, email address, telephone number, and postal address;
  • account credentials and authentication information;
  • billing details, transaction references, tax information, and invoice records;
  • identity or business-verification documents where reasonably required;
  • support tickets, emails, abuse responses, feedback, and other communications;
  • service configuration, requested IP addresses, domains, hostnames, and order preferences.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, date and time, browser, device, operating system, language, and referral information;
  • pages viewed, buttons used, session activity, cookies, and similar identifiers;
  • account logins, authentication events, API activity, and security logs;
  • service telemetry reasonably required for operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, abuse handling, and network security.

3. Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. PrimeFilter may receive and retain limited payment information such as the provider, payment status, transaction identifier, billing name, country, card brand, and masked card details.

Payment security: PrimeFilter does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers. Those details are handled by the payment provider according to its security and compliance obligations.

The payment provider’s privacy policy also applies to information processed directly by that provider.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and client area, keep sessions secure, remember preferences, measure performance, prevent fraud, and understand how our Services are used.

  • Essential cookies support login, security, checkout, load balancing, and basic website functions.
  • Preference cookies remember choices such as language or interface settings.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand usage and improve the Services.
  • Marketing cookies may be used where permitted and, when required, with your consent.

You can control non-essential cookies through available consent tools or browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from functioning correctly.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure accounts, process orders, deploy Services, and manage billing;
  • provide support, communicate service notices, and respond to requests;
  • authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and payment risk;
  • operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our website, network, and infrastructure;
  • investigate security incidents, abuse reports, policy violations, and legal claims;
  • comply with tax, accounting, sanctions, court, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations;
  • send product or promotional communications where permitted, with an option to unsubscribe.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: processing needed to provide, bill, support, and manage the Services you request.
  • Legitimate interests: securing systems, preventing fraud and abuse, improving Services, communicating with customers, and protecting legal rights.
  • Legal obligation: processing required for tax, accounting, sanctions, regulatory, or lawful government requirements.
  • Consent: processing based on permission you may withdraw, such as certain marketing or optional cookies.

7. When We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information where reasonably necessary with:

  • infrastructure facilities, network carriers, IP providers, software licensors, domain providers, and infrastructure partners;
  • payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention providers, accountants, and tax advisers;
  • email, support, monitoring, analytics, security, and customer-management providers;
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and prospective parties to a legitimate business transaction;
  • courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities when legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety;
  • another party when you instruct us or provide valid consent.

Service providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service and under applicable confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

8. Customer Server Data

Customers control the files, applications, databases, communications, and other content they place on their Services. PrimeFilter does not routinely inspect customer content.

We may access or preserve limited customer data when reasonably necessary to provide requested support, investigate abuse or a security incident, protect the network, enforce our Terms, comply with law, or prevent harm. Customers are responsible for providing any privacy notices and legal basis required for personal information they process through their own Services.

9. International Data Transfers

PrimeFilter is a United States company and works with providers in multiple countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence.

Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. The privacy protections in another country may differ from those in your country.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing Services, maintaining transaction and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud and abuse, and meeting legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by record type. Account, invoice, transaction, support, security, and abuse records may be retained after account closure where required or justified. Data may also remain temporarily in secure backups until overwritten according to the applicable backup cycle.

11. Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authentication, network protections, logging, encryption in transit where appropriate, provider due diligence, and restricted administrative access.

No online system or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, using unique passwords, enabling available multi-factor authentication, securing your devices, and contacting us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of information, subject to legal and operational exceptions;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request a portable copy of information you provided;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of marketing communications;
  • complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

To protect your account, we may verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, needed to provide a requested Service, protect security, prevent fraud, or establish legal claims.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law sets a higher age for independent consent, a parent or legal guardian must provide any required authorization.

Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, payment providers, control panels, software, or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. PrimeFilter is not responsible for third-party privacy or security practices.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Services, providers, laws, or data practices. The revised version becomes effective when posted, unless a later date is stated.

Material changes may also be communicated through the website, client area, or account email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
